The Story…
2020 made every new mum struggle with not being able to attend in person classes but add to that complications with the pregnancy and husband working away makes things a lot harder!
As Demara had a problematic pregnancy she didn’t attend any antenatal classes or put together a birth plan as she didn’t know how things would go once she was in labour. Her partner Rouke was her chosen birth partner so that they could share the experience of welcoming their daughter into the world together.
As Koveè was breach and Demara was suffering from pre-eclampsia she was born 10 days early via an emergency c-section.
Once Koveè was 3 days old she was able to go home early as they were all recovering well.
Demara’s advice to other Mum’s to be: ‘Go with the flow don’t stress anything too much.’
